Our Story

In 2016 the Iron & Grain journey began.

Becca and I were both working full-time jobs. Our second son was on the way and we were determined to figure out a way to spend more time with our family. After several failed side-hustle attempts, we found ourselves at a local craft store with some scrap leather and a stamping kit. We didn't know what we were going to make, but we set up our dining table as a workstation and tried a few ideas. We started with a watchband, a bible cover, and some simple keychains. It wasn’t long before friends and family were asking where they could purchase our stuff. We set up an online shop and were open for business!

For the first couple of years, I worked my full-time job during the day and we both worked together late at night filling all of our orders. In 2019, we found ourselves at a crossroad. The business had grown to the point where we needed to choose between staying at my day job OR going full-time with Iron & Grain. We decided to take a big leap of faith and go all in on our business! To this day, it is still Becca and me, working side-by-side, making every order!

This has been one of the most challenging endeavors that we have faced but we are grateful for every bit of it. It has given us the flexibility and freedom to make countless memories with our family.

So we mean it when we say, thank you for supporting our small business. It means the world to us.
